Myers’ cocktail IV therapy

The therapy has been found by hundreds of practitioners to be a safe and effective treatment for a wide range of clinical conditions.

Myers’ intravenous therapy (IV), or Myers’ cocktail, is used in clinics throughout the United States with great success to treat various conditions. Many patients have seen remarkable differences in their quality of life with this simple therapy that can be done in a clinic or a doctor’s office without going to a hospital.

The Myers’ IV was created by John Myers, M.D., a physician from Baltimore, Md., who pioneered the use of intravenous therapy with vitamins and minerals as part of the overall treatment for various medical problems.

The Myers’ cocktail, which consists of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C and sometimes other vitamins, has been found to be effective against acute asthma attacks, migraines, fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, cardiovascular disease and other disorders. It can be modified to treat additional conditions such as migraines, PMS, herpes zoster, glaucoma, diabetes, depression, toxicity, acne, hyperthyroidism, arthritis and can help maintain overall wellness.

The therapy has been found by hundreds of practitioners to be a safe and effective treatment for a wide range of clinical conditions. In many instances, this treatment is more effective and better tolerated than conventional medical therapies.

Patients who have used the IVs have seen a great difference in their overall health. Some feel the effects right away, while others see a difference after a few treatments. A series of IVs is usually recommended for maximal benefit.

The Myers’ IV therapy not only provides relief from specific conditions, but it also nourishes the body with needed vitamins and minerals. Many diseases are directly or indirectly caused by improper eating habits and malnutrition. These include, but are not limited to deficiency diseases, caused by a lack of essential nutrients.

Vitamins and minerals have been found to be essential in a person’s health, and certain vitamin-deficient diseases are known to cause serious problems, such as scurvy, spinal bifida, marasmus, etc.

It makes good sense to use the Myers’ intravenous therapy in many chronic diseases as a part of the overall wellness protocol.
