Whether you are a teen or a grandmother, longer, curlier and tussled fun looks are in this fall. There is a myth out there that as you get older, you have to cut your hair shorter. Nonsense! If growing out your hair is what you want to do, then do it.
The things you want to take into consideration are your lifestyle and the shape of your face, head and body. What makes you look classy and feel sassy? Just think about Madonna, Oprah and Christy Brinkley. All of them are wearing long, beautiful hair, along with working out, eating right, dancing, keeping themselves fit and, most importantly, having fun. They radiate beauty on every level.
When we hit 50, we tend to think our life is more than half over. But as we increase our knowledge about healthy, alternative tools for the body, mind and soul, we realize that more and more people are starting to live past 100.
So whether it is 50 or 30, your age is only a number. If you want to feel 30 again, you can choose to do just that, while living your own authentic life. If you put care and energy into every aspect of your beauty, there is absolutely no reason you cannot feel and look like you are in your 30s again.
In addition to longer hair, color is going to make a dramatic statement this fall. Last year, we saw warm, honey-blonde tones. This year, boldly colored hair will make a strong statement about your personal attitude. Be brave — give the cool new pastels and multidimensional blondes a try. Their gorgeous tones reflect the beauty of your hair, like a cool sunset on the beaches of Hawaii.
Those toned down, cool blonde shades in the fashion magazines are not just for the celebrities. You want that look of luxury? There is no better time than now to go for it. Whatever your age, celebrate it. Just like your attitude, the age you feel is your choice.
