Self is a very powerful and empowering word. It is a word founded upon faith, trust and nonjudgment from within. When you believe in your Self, anything is possible. Life goals become the probability and not the improbable. Belief in Self is found at the deepest core of your understanding, which is also the place where your creativity is activated.
Not believing in your Self blocks your life’s path from achieving your desires and goals. Not believing in your Self causes an underlying current of fear-based muck that grips you to the core. This muck is the “stuck” emotional goo that prevents you from tapping into your clear core of doubtless consciousness.
The muck is filled with self-doubt and emotional and physical blocks that have a loud roaring voice, preventing you from hearing the clear cognitive voice of your inner intuition — your gut feelings. That roar speaks volumes to the fears of self-judgment, lack and taking away from your Self all the good things you deserve to have in your life.
One of the first Self items that you take away is awareness of your own personal power. It is difficult to empower your Self if you do not believe that you have this power. You operate on self-limiting ideas, concepts and opinions of others. Not believing in your Self is a self-victimization behavior, learned through other people’s opinions.
What you may not comprehend is that opinions, including your own, hamper creativity and keep you stuck in the past in an emotional opinion — either self-induced or labeled by an outside source. Opinions are just opinions. They are emotionally based, with very few facts, if any. Opinions take away your innate ability to make clear, rational choices.
Opinions are emotionally based decisions that affect and influence your life, your creativity and your results, both personally and professionally. Any decision made on an opinion of others is not the influence to seek. For those whom you see as influencing you, ask your Self if those people are inhibiting or contributing to your life? The answer may change your life — for better or worse.
Start believing in your Self. Listen to your intuition and gut feelings. Trust the voice in your heart and believe — in your Self. Then watch as your creativity blossoms.
