Psychics do not predict the future; they predict the probability of the future.

Has a psychic ever told you something incredibly amazing about your future that you found hard to believe? Or warned you about the future by seeing an unfavorable outcome to a situation? Did you know whether or not to believe the prediction?
Because so many factors challenge our coping skills today, more people are turning to the psychic realm for guidance. Alternative solutions to problems faced in relationships, business and health are now being embraced with open arms. If modern medicine, psychology, religion or government cannot deliver the answers, then a different path to fulfillment must be explored.
Should you believe a psychic’s prophecies? If so, can your future be changed? Many psychics tend to think the future is predetermined and cannot be altered. This is not true, however. Psychics do not predict the future; they predict the probability of the future.
Psychics and others have interpreted the Mayan calendar to show that either the end of the world or a world-changing event will take place on December 21, 2012. Prophecies such as this have a good chance of actually not happening due to the fact that the collective world has been altering its destiny each and every moment in time.
So why go to a psychic if the future is not etched in stone? The answer is that predictions work as mechanisms that can provide you with meaningful insights about yourself that were not consciously apparent to you. A positive prediction can be a motivating factor for change or something that offers you hope.
On the other hand, a negative prediction can offer you a chance to enhance your life emotionally and spiritually. It can serve as a warning and give you time to redirect a potential problem or take a different course of action. A psychic sees your future based on your current life path. If you make a change that alters your path, then your predicted future will no longer be the same.
When you seek out a psychic, it is important to choose a reputable individual. It is imperative to note that not all psychics are mediums, but all mediums are psychics. Some psychics may use tools to help them in their readings: tarot cards, astrological birth charts, numerology or the Akashic records, to name a few. In so doing, the psychic acts as an interpreter of the tools, along with the use of his/her heightened intuitive powers or supernatural guidance.
On the other hand, psychic mediums use innate tools such as clairvoyance, clairaudience or clairsentience and can communicate with people or pets that have passed on and who have played significant roles in their clients’ lives. In this way, psychics connect with people, places and events from your past and may be able to give you information about your future. Their energy connects with your energy, which allows the psychic to access your thoughts, information and energetic imprint.
What a psychic tells you might not come to fruition right away; however, as time marches on, you may look back and realize that what the psychic had to say is now applicable to your life. Keep the predictions you learn in perspective. Psychics are not always 100 percent accurate.
You create your own destiny from your thoughts and actions that are carried out every single day. You are on this earth to learn, grow and experience everything you can in the time you are given. Your destiny is evolving, even as you read this article.
