Be more “chi-ful”

Feng shui, Relationships

You have a choice each day to respond positively or negatively to any situation.

Feng shui is not just about bringing chi or energy to your surroundings — it is also about how you resonate with your place and other people. Feng shui teaches you that in each and every situation, you can practice being more “chi-ful” — to coin a new word. This means being more cheerful and positive in your interactions with others.

You have myriad opportunities to be more chi-ful by using personal chi enhancers. For example, you can increase the chi of the people around you with special gifts, cards and flowers. You can also enhance chi greatly when you express your feelings to those you care about. You raise the chi of others by using the sincere affirmations, when appropriate, of “I love you” or “you are wonderful.”

You have a choice each day to respond positively or negatively to any situation. Do you know someone who, no matter what the occasion, chooses to feel no joy in it? If you focus on this person, there is probably something you can do to raise their personal chi. Perhaps it is a phone call or a greeting card, or whatever your intuition or heart dictates. It may take repeated acts of kindness, but do not give up —because positive chi is contagious.

Feng shui reminds us that in every situation we can increase the chi for positive results.
