Uwe Gronau (pronounced like “you-we grow-now”) is a pianist and keyboardist, but it is not that easy to describe his music, because he also plays bass and a little acoustic guitar, plus adds drum programming and the sounds of flute, trumpet, English horn, electric guitar and other instruments.
The two-CD set contains 35 tunes (instrumentals except for one sung in English and one containing a spoken German poem). The music, which ranges from mellow beats to meditative, will be embraced by New Age music lovers, but this blend of acoustic and electronic sounds contains elements of jazz, pop, prog-rock, techno, trance, chill, ambient and space music.
The first disc is more upbeat, while the second disc has the softer tunes, including many of the solo piano pieces.
