It is a common misconception that parasites are strictly a third-world issue. This fallacy can prevent people from considering parasites as a possible cause of their health issues. The truth is that our bodies are exposed to parasites, regardless of locale, owing to increased international travel and access to myriad varieties of fruits, vegetables, seafood and meats. Those with immune system disorders are even more susceptible to parasites, as are the elderly and very young.
Over time, medicine has had difficulties with curative approaches to parasites and, despite our modern technology and comforts, the number of people who become infected has not dropped dramatically. No need to worry though, the most effective way to rid parasites is to reinforce the body’s ability to defend itself.
Problem-causing parasites can be eliminated without surgery and with minimally invasive testing and treatment. The two treatments recommended for accuracy and minimal invasiveness are electrodermal scanning and/or fecal sample testing. These tests are also excellent indicators of other complications.
The most common symptoms mirror flu symptoms — chills, muscle pains and aches, fever, extreme fatigue and ongoing abdominal discomfort (and the gas and bloating that go with it). Some people report constipation, while others report diarrhea. In cases of diarrhea, dehydration becomes an issue, and rehydration is necessary. The symptoms create an ongoing cycle that, if left untreated, may lead some to believe they have irritable bowel syndrome, colon issues or something more serious. In some cases, people will have years of no symptoms whatsoever.
Once the parasites have been identified through screening, the treatment process is manageable and effective enough to rid your body of the parasite and associated complications.
Three main treatments are preferred and recommended. The first is intravenous oxygen/ozone therapy, which is an excellent way to eliminate problem-causing parasites. The second recommended treatment is elevated-dose vitamin C therapies, which aid immune system disorders, as well. Third is an herbal regimen to aid the body in the elimination process. Homeopathic medicines can be prescribed in conjunction, which have also proven to be very successful.
You can keep your body healthy along the way and avoid parasites by drinking lots of water, eating enough fiber and taking appropriate amounts of vitamin C, zinc, herbs (such as goldenseal), raw garlic (or garlic tablets), probiotics and digestive enzymes. Carrots, beets, pumpkin seeds and pomegranate are food sources that help rid the body of parasites.
Parasites are fairly common, yet the good news is that they are highly manageable with effective treatment.
