Chakra clearing

Everything is energy, and energy is moving. Physical pain is the body’s way of communicating to our conscious mind that our life-force energy has become blocked in some way. However, addressing the physical symptoms may not always be the most effective way to heal.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word which literally means wheel and refers to the energy centers that interface between the dense physical body and the subtle or energy bodies. Because these subtle layers of energy are less dense, they are also more malleable than the physical body. That is why working with the energies can have profound effects on healing.

Chakra clearing is a technique used by energy healers to access the subtle energy body and infuse it with a healing charge. This charge provides a boost to the client’s own life-force healing energy. When the energy is encouraged to move in this way, it is capable of miraculous results. The body has the ability to self-heal, so activation of the life force through any energy modality will help this natural process.

Chakra clearing can also be used as a self-healing tool. Try this simple exercise — sit in silent awareness and imagine a pulsing energy flowing up and down your spine. Quiet your mind by focusing on your breath, and slowly move your awareness up from the base of the spine to just above the crown of your head. Imagine seeing colors and let them come into your awareness. When you reach the point above the crown, imagine a fountain of opalescent white light showering down around you. Notice any subtle pulsations or vibrations in the physical body as you slowly begin to move into conscious awareness.
