According to the concept of universal oneness, we are all connected and have great similarities to each other. Most everyone is seeking solid relationships, perhaps a supportive marriage, stable job, nurturing home and reliable car — in short, “the good life.” Such is the ideal scenario and dream for the majority of us.
Yet so many times, this is not how life turns out. The truth is, not everyone fits into this paradigm, and this may include you. It is imperative to realize that you are distinct and, therefore, must create your own paradigm. By trusting in yourself and in the uniqueness of your talents, you can achieve your good life.
Yes, you and everyone else are part of this amazing collective called the human race. However, when you get caught up in the intensity of the sameness paradigm, your uniqueness is overshadowed by the “perceived you” instead of the “real you.” Your personal attributes are what make you singular and outside of the “everyone is the same” paradigm. Do not shape yourself into a specific mold. Step out of the box and form your own model for living that portrays the highest and best for you.
Does it really matter which city, state, nation or country you come from? No, it is your individual uniqueness that contributes to your world and, in fact, to the world at large. Yes, you are a part of the collective. But the greatest blessing that you have is giving the world the full expression of your distinct self — your uniqueness that sets you apart from everyone.
Look at all the exceptional talents that you bring to your life and the lives of others. When you get down to the nitty-gritty, to that real place within you, you are irreplaceable. How you have touched those who have come into your life is exceptional.
Give yourself credit for the contributions you have made up to this point in your life. Your sole distinctness comes from your soul. However you contribute, it is your one-of-a-kind expressions that you share with others.
Being a close friend, great listener, supportive partner, loving parent, good coworker, or contributing employee or employer — whatever your roles, it is your uniqueness that makes a difference not only for yourself, but for all those in your life. Whether personal or professional, your distinct personality is not commonplace. There is nothing common about you.
Celebrate your singularity. Give yourself a round of applause. Do not dwell on the negative or what you do not have or did not do. Focus on the exclusivity of you. Accept your value and your worth. You are valuable. Your life makes a difference.
Celebrate each day as if it is the first day of your life. Whatever occurred in the past is not changeable, but what you do now and going forward does make a difference. So celebrate yourself. Honor your uniqueness. Honor your soul.
