Creating your Prosperity Box for the new year

The New Year will soon be upon us, representing new beginnings. Want a fun, focused way to begin your new year with great intentions to create prosperity, abundance, affluence and influence in your life? You can do this by creating a Prosperity Box for yourself, or giving them to your friends as New Year gifts. Be creative and outrageous. Gather the items and follow the simple instructions below.

Items needed for your Prosperity Box:

• A red box
• Two red envelopes or feng shui envelopes
• Your list of intentions for the year
• 27 new $1 bills with consecutive numbers
• Nine quarters
• Nine purple and white $20 money bands • Nine flat, empty quarter rolls
• One feng shui mirror
• One red felt square

Instructions for creating your Prosperity Box:

• Find a friend, family member or business associate to partner with for this process.
• Place nine new $1 bills inside a red or feng shui envelope and exchange the envelopes with your partner, to be put into your Prosperity Boxes.
• Place nine additional $1 bills, along with your written or typed “Intentions for 2008,” inside the other red envelope. Be creative and specific with your intentions, and let the Universe provide the avenues for achieving your dreams and goals. Stay out of the outcome, so your income can “come in” to you.
• Be creative when selecting your box. You can buy it or make it; it can be simple or ornate.
• Place the red envelope containing the nine $1 bills you received in your exchange with your partner, as well as your envelope with the nine $1 bills you kept and your intention list, in the box. Add the remaining nine loose $1 bills, quarters, money bands and quarter rolls.

Once your Prosperity Box is ready, place the red felt and mirror under the box in the prosperity corner of your home, office, cubicle or favorite room. Facing into your home, apartment, office, cubicle and/or favorite room, your prosperity corner is always in the left hand corner as you enter through the doorway.

You can add new intentions anytime during the year. From time to time, check your list of intentions to see how many have come to fruition. Be positive and affirming. Remember, where you place your consciousness and your heart is the source of your energy for manifesting your intentions. To prosperity, abundance, affluence and positive influence for you in the new year.
