This music was originally recorded in 1979, the first on the Soundings of the Planet label.
It was also one of the first to include the sounds of nature combined with peaceful music.
On the CD, the haunting vocals and harp merge with bird calls and are joined by flute and cello, blending classical structures with jazz improvisations that created a completely new genre of music.
Today, it is known as New Age, healing, relaxation or nature music.
It is still beautiful music.
