Energetic dentistry: A new paradigm

You know the blame game. We do something wrong or fail at something and blame it on someone or something else.

by Dr. Nicholas Meyer —

Hardly a day goes by that someone does not talk to me about energy medicine. I find it so interesting that I have searched for similar applications in the field of dentistry. But given the distinctions between the two, we are left in a quandary. How can energy affect one part of the body without affecting another?

The answer is simple: It cannot. As light (energy) beings, if something happens to one part of our being, another part (actually the whole) is also affected — instantaneously, in fact.

I have observed that there are two distinct classes of energy application in dentistry. One is the overtly physical, as with ultrasonics used in teeth cleaning or high-energy particle acceleration used in caries removal. The other is the spiritual or purely energetic class, as used in pain management or laser gum surgery. These are examples from the treatment side of dentistry. On the diagnostic side, two examples are dental x-rays, the granddaddy of energy applications, and also low-level laser luminescence for caries detection. Both are powerful and noninvasive.

As you can see with these examples, energetics in dentistry has been around for a while. How it is used and what the future portends are fascinating and worth watching. Look for a future article where I will highlight energetics developments in medicine and dentistry.
