“I have found that sitting in a place where you have never sat before can be inspiring.” — Dodie Smith.
How profound the above quote is, especially in these times that seem so scary and confusing. What is happening to the American dream? Has it turned into a nightmare? Is it time to reevaluate the dynamics of the dream?
Now is an excellent time for all of us to examine our lives from a different point of view. This could be the moment to step back and look within ourselves to determine what is most meaningful and valuable during these challenging times.
The current confusion and turmoil can provide opportunities for us to dig deep into the depths of our souls and connect to the values and fearlessness that are the very foundation of our spirits. By doing this, we can overcome any and all adversities that come our way, individually and collectively.
As huge as the challenges are, the determination of our spirits is a greater force for inventing new ways and new opportunities. Let’s tap into the passion and compassion of our heart chakras and infuse this powerful source to inspire each other to new heights of ingenuity. Do this by creating a clear connection to your spirit. Turn off the chatter of your computer brain and listen quietly to your heart.
Envision yourself sitting in another place, free of confusion and fear. Envision yourself feeling in your body what it is to be completely in charge of your life. Envision your heart’s desires manifesting. Then express yourself through empowering words from your throat chakra in language that supports you in actualizing your dream of the life you choose.
The vision of your soul, the insight of your spirit and the unlimited energy of your heart are a power trinity from which you can draw strength and wisdom to make lasting change. Step up and design your dream life. You are the expert; in fact, you are the only person who can do it. Challenging times are the best times to inspire yourself. From adversity comes ingenuity.
Implement the changes you desire to change. Gandhi said, “Be the change you wish to see in this world.” In the change, you will automatically inspire others. It happens naturally.
