How to prevent and manage cancer with beta glucan
by Debbie Williams —
Most of us blindly go through life trusting that our parents knew what was best for us to eat. But did they really know what was best or did they follow the path of so many others, which led to health disaster? When my health started going south and I was being prescribed multiple drugs, I began researching nutrition and have since become a ravenous researcher on cancer.
Because of my self-education, I have been rather hard on medical doctors for the past four years. I realized they teach what they are taught and typically, they are not taught about how the body can heal itself. In fact, some are not even knowledgeable about basic nutrition.
Hippocrates wrote, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Naturopathic doctors are taught this, but I do not know of an insurance company that will help pay for us to go see one when we are sick or for our annual physicals. Our costly health insurance covers only prescription writing physicians. At one time, chiropractic appointments were covered by insurance, but even those have mostly been eliminated.
Cancer has touched every family in some way. Until recently, never in my life have I been able to count on both hands the people I know who have or have had cancer.
The multitrillion-dollar cancer industry continues to grow and, all the while, so does cancer. I hope one day we can go see a doctor of our choice, not the one the health insurance carrier chooses. It seems logical that we would have the option to choose a doctor who could show us how to kill the cancer naturally or, better yet, how to avoid getting it.
I spent time this year with a medical doctor who had to give up her OB/GYN practice due to breast cancer. When I met her she was using a cane, even though she was only in her 40s. She told me she received zero training in medical school on preventative health methods. Fortunately, her health has improved immensely because she was able to strengthen her immune system by taking Beta Glucan 500.
Two days ago, a dear friend of mine from high school called to tell me he had stage IV rectal cancer. He had been bleeding from his rectum for one-and-a-half years but did not tell anyone. If you notice bleeding and it does not stop after a few days, go to the doctor. It is not normal to have blood in your urine or stool. Typically, if you visit a medical doctor, he will suggest three things if you have a cancer diagnosis — surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, and sometimes all three.
The first thing you may consider upon diagnosis is to get a second opinion. Another friend of mine was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and was ready to get a colostomy bag when his friend suggested getting a second opinion. It was found he had stage I cancer, so surgery was not needed.
I have been reading for years that mammograms can do more harm than good. Getting one is a personal choice, and I have chosen not to get them anymore after reading that the pressure of the machine on the breast can cause tumors to rupture and spread. It never made sense to me to flatten out breasts to uncomfortable levels while using radiation for the picture.
Medicine is advancing, and a much safer thermography is now available. Harvard Health Publications reported October 21, 2015: “Women can wait until age 45 to start getting annual mammograms and cut back to every other year once they turn 55, according to new breast cancer screening guidelines from the American Cancer Society.”
The recommendations, published in a recent issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, are a major shift from the organization’s previous guidelines, which advised women to get annual mammograms starting at age 40. They are intended for women with an average risk of breast cancer, meaning no family history of breast cancer or prior radiation treatment to the chest.
We can improve our chances of not getting cancer. Most people have their vices, whether they are smoking, alcohol, chips, GMO foods, etc. But what about the things that can cause cancer that are out of our control, like asbestos or chemicals we inhale every day in our environment, home and vehicles? What about all the antibiotics and hormones injected into livestock, which eventually end up in our bodies when we eat meat?
Your body wants to be healthy, and the immune system is key to your health. Unfortunately, most phone calls I get are from people whose lives have already been turned upside down due to a health crisis. It is critical to be proactive and take the proper supplements so you do not get that diagnosis. Beta glucan is the best line of defense to protect you from disease.
Our manufacturer has thousands of stage IV cancer patients who continue to order beta glucan. These patients are still living 16 years after having stage IV cancer. People often ask me, “How long do I need to take beta glucan?” My answer is, “As long as you want to help your immune system.”
I was at a seminar several years ago when a university expert on beta glucan declared that most beta glucan found on health food store shelves is worthless. Our product is certified and university tested to be the best in the world. Our manufacturer actually rejects 90 percent of the beta glucan that comes into the lab. Other resellers purchase the rejects. So buyer beware.
The key is to help your immune system, and beta glucan will do just that. Go to vitawithimmunity.com for explanatory videos. For more information or to order the best beta glucan on the market, contact me.
