Everyone has one. You may have forgotten your “song,” but deep within the depths of your being, your heart remembers it. The song of your heart holds the secret of why you are here and what it is you came here to do.
There is a vibration and a frequency within the universe that only you hold. This is your song, your music and your gift to the world. If you are to hear and understand your song, then you must listen to your heart. If this is difficult for you, find someone who can listen with you. And you must listen with the heart of a child. Listen with the tenderness of a kind-hearted child, and remember to be gentle with yourself.
When we grew into adulthood, many of us forgot how to listen, and we forgot how to be kind to ourselves. There are classes and courses on public speaking and how to communicate ideas and information effectively. Speaking well is important, and we do want to be understood. But many of us have forgotten that the first thing we must do is listen. We must listen to each other, and most importantly, we must listen to ourselves.
Discovering the lost art of listening allows you to listen to your heart and the song of your very being. This opens up a space for you to understand yourself and your life. It allows you the space to understand who you are in this world.
Shhh. Listen! The song of your heart awaits you. It is waiting for you to tune in. And all you have to do is listen.
