Transformational stones for healing

Healing, Metaphysical

In ancient times, the Greek philosopher Plato expressed his view that crystals are formed from the stars and planets. Others, such as the native North Americans and the Australian aborigines consider crystals to be the bones of Mother Earth.

Most stones we currently admire or use were created millions of years ago in the womb of the earth by the action of water, wind and volcanic fire. These stones and crystals hold the life force and healing energies from the earth and the sky. The ancient Egyptians, as far back as 3,500 years ago, as well as other cultures in India and China, recorded the healing properties of crystals. Thus, the wisdom of healing crystals has been passed down from the beginning of humans’ time.

Today, crystals are used in many of our technologies, from communication to space travel and exploration, as well as many medical applications. Crystals are used in lasers for microscopic surgery as well as applications for skin rejuvenation and repair. The work now being done with crystals will continue to expand into every aspect of our lives.

We are in the process of transformation and change; crystals and stones play an important part in the personal and planetary initiations that are occurring and serving to accelerate our healing and growth. Crystals can aid in bringing the mind into a state of peace and can ground us to be in the present moment. They are teaching us how to activate and access the full potential of our own inner radiance.

One wonderful crystal, moldavite, is a stone of transformation and change. Known as the emerald that fell from the sky approximately 14.8 million years ago, moldavite was formed in a collision by a large meteorite into the Moldau River Valley in the Czech Republic. The event that gave birth to moldavite was a tremendous impact explosion estimated to have a force of six trillion megatons.

Moldavite is a light to deep forest green tektite. With its fine velvet green colors, richly sculptured surfaces and translucence, the beauty of moldavite is seldom exceeded. They are among the most beautiful tektites and are rare. This green stone, with its mysterious origins, is thought to have magical powers, provide good health and bring its owners luck. It is a work of art that could have been created only by the mysteries of nature.

Moldavite, a spiritual talisman, is called the Stone of the Holy Grail because it can show you the path to spiritual enlightenment. In some ancient texts, the Holy Grail was said to be not a cup but a stone. In other stories, the Grail cup was carved from the emerald. The ancients called all clear green gemstones “emeralds,” but moldavite is the only such stone known to have fallen from the sky.

The ancients used moldavite to promote beautiful dreams, meditation and star walking. It is also an ideal stone for use in making energy tools, and a powerful healer for body, mind and soul. Moldavite is an activation stone, opening one to transformation, calling forth the manifestation of one’s highest destiny and increasing incidences of synchronicity to move one quickly along their path.
