TurboSonic® whole-body vibration therapy provides a safe, effective way to excite human cells. This new Korean technology accelerates the body’s natural healing response, increases cellular oxygen, enhances cellular nutrient uptake, stimulates cellular fluid movement and facilitates cellular waste removal. As a result, new cells are more resilient, more vibrant and function together as a healthier, longer lasting body.
The TurboSonic Vibration Trainer consists of a sonic (sound) vibrating platform, which looks like a large weight scale, that the user stands on or performs exercises on. The whole-body sonic vibration stimulates bones, muscles, blood vessels and cells in a manner that promotes their rapid development and circulation, and also burns calories in minutes.
The sonic vertical movement of the plate stimulates the body’s natural “stretch reflex.” This causes a spontaneous muscle contraction, which instinctively stretches and contracts, with both movements occurring at varying rates, between 3 to 50 times (Hz) per second.
Exercise causes the body to tire; rest allows the body to recover. By repeating this process, the body adjusts to the level of effort, resulting in an increase in physical performance.
This phenomenon, called super-compensation, similarly occurs when training on the TurboSonic platform. However, compared with traditional training methods, greater results are achieved and hormonal production is increased in less time.
Ten minutes on the trainer invigorates the whole body and equals 20 to 90 minutes at the gym, depending on the intensity. Other benefits are that it dissolves cellulite, reduces body fat, tightens facial muscles and accelerates weight loss. It is especially helpful to those who cannot exercise due to trauma, injury, etc.
The vertical movement of the plate stimulates the whole body, inside and out. The platform comes with seven preset programs, but also has manual controls so that users can customize their sessions. Frequency levels of vibration range from 6Hz to 45Hz that can also be adjusted to suit personal preferences.
