By observing the lines, colors, structures and accumulations in the iris and sclera of the eye, the cause(s) of illness can be revealed.

Obesity stems from many causes and has one very obvious effect — being overweight. Diet and fitness programs abound, yet so many people go unsuccessfully from one diet to another, feeling that they have failed again.

Even when we manage to stave off the weight, if we have not addressed the underlying cause(s), any dieting success will be short-lived.

By observing the lines, colors, structures and accumulations in the iris and sclera of the eye, the cause(s) can be revealed.

The reasons for obesity are very individual. They can be as diverse as:

  • Underactive thyroid, which creates a sluggish metabolism.
  • Lack of hydrochloric acid (HCL) and enzyme production, or a pathogenic presence which impedes food digestion, thereby causing less nutrient absorption and/or hunger borne of malnutrition.
  • An emotionally rooted fear that there will not be enough food, causing a desire to consume it all now.
  • Adrenal burnout and the release of cortisol, which creates cravings for sugar and carbohydrates, leading to excess fat storage.
  • A subconscious, emotionally based fear of becoming attractive and bringing in unwanted attention.
  • Toxins within tissues or organs, causing low function, congestion and stagnation.

The causes of being overweight are numerous so it makes sense that losing weight is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. When we address our own unique psychology and physiology, dropping the pounds can be an effortless and enjoyable process. If you are white-knuckling your way to a slimmer physique, that is a sure indicator that when the diet is over the weight will return.

Nothing really changes until we get to the cause(s), and correct the problem(s). Many failed attempts at weight loss can break the spirit unnecessarily. When you discover why you are overweight, you can create solutions for a lifetime.
