Ways to eliminate negativity

This is a time when we see many people with negative thoughts. The reasons are plentiful, such as job loss issues and frightening world news.
Though you may not openly speak your angry thoughts, they still roll around and around in your head, all the while creating a downslide in your personal happiness factor.
Here is a simple, helpful solution to use when other methods do not seem to work.
As soon as a negative, angry, self-pitying thought comes into your mind, consciously make the choice not to allow it — and bless it! Mentally offer the negative words counter messages like “Love and light,” or “God(dess), bless you.” This action will take the bitter sting out of the debilitating sad or angry hurt you feel, replacing it with far happier energy.
At first, this may be difficult to do. As with the formation of any new habit, you must take care not to fall back into your negative thought patterns. But when you adhere to this conscious process, you will replace the old negativity with a new and sweeter feeling.
Yes, it’s all about how you feel.
