What are you willing to do to enjoy a life of ease, abundance, success and peace? Would you be willing to do what it takes, even if it meant doing things differently than you are doing now?
If so, here are 10 simple, yet profound action steps that will take you a long way toward your goal:
1. Tell the truth — This means more than not lying. Telling the truth sets you free and attracts people to you who value truth.
2. Be yourself — Be authentic and accept where you are. Your choices in life have brought you here. Accepting this fact empowers you to choose again and change the aspects that no longer work for you.
3. Stay in the present — When you stay in the present, you can move with the flow. Pay attention to what is happening to and around you right now. Life happens in the now, not in the problems of the past or the anticipation of the future.
4. Eliminate energy drains — You can have it all, if you are open to the possibilities. But first you must plug the holes where you lose power by extending boundaries, raising standards, resolving past issues and healing from within. You cannot attract higher outcomes until you have done this inner work of preparation — so do the work!
5. Choose win-win options — Choose the higher alternative. Most of us were raised to believe that if we win, the world loses, or if the world wins, we lose. This is not true. Look for win-win solutions for all parties concerned. If you cannot find one, walk away from the deal rather than compromise.
6. Giving is receiving — Joy lies in giving. We all have something to give, to add to life. Add it. If you do not feel you have enough to add, learn a new skill. When you contribute yourself and your gifts to other people’s lives, you are also enriched.
7. Nurture yourself — Take extremely good care of yourself. Get your needs met first so that you have the resources to help others meet theirs. Build reserves of love, space, opportunities, ideas, friends and financial resources so that you approach life from a place of personal empowerment.
8. Increase your awareness — Become aware of your habitual thought patterns, emotions and actions. If these patterns diminish or limit you, change them. You cannot attract what you do not practice in your own life, so attraction starts with the relationship to yourself.
9. Take responsibility — We attract what we are ready for. Get ready for the best — by doing the work. Taking responsibility for making oneself attractive to higher outcomes is not effortless, but the results are life-changing.
10. Shift from doing to being — You cannot attract positive outcomes when you operate from a place of lack. Become aware of who you are, even as you go about engaging in life’s activities. Notice when you relate from a place of fear, doubt or anxiety, and change your attitude to one based on love, faith and trust.
