Living in the warm climate of Phoenix, our feet are often out in the open for all to see, yet many of us are self-conscious about the appearance of our toes and heels, worrying about what others may think.

There is some truth to the fact that our feet may reveal more than we wish. From a toe-reading perspective, our feet hold the stories about our pasts. The direction of the toes, whether the ends are full or pointed, and whether the nails are healthy or there is something “eating away at them” — all of these have meaning.

To learn more, get a reading from a registered toe reader who can assist you in exploring the possible messages in the details of each toe. This information may even shed light on areas for personal growth. Blisters, scars, stubbed toes and/or reddened areas on your feet can be your body trying to get your attention. Toe reading can be combined with other modalities such as life coaching, massage or reflexology. As the issues in the tissues of the toes are addressed and liberated, the appearance and health of the toes also improve.

Pamper yourself. A pedicure is a great way to receive a positive touch and can be a well-deserved break in your day. If your resources are limited, perhaps you can do an exchange with a friend. For dry, cracked heels, apply castor oil at night before bed, then immediately put socks on. Castor oil is messy, so be careful not to walk around without your feet covered. You will notice smoother feet in less than a week with daily use.

Be gentle on yourself and your feet. Massage them regularly, let them breathe often and wear comfortable shoes. We notice our feet when they hurt and when it is sandal weather. What will you do to put your best foot forward?
