Creating new possibilities

Your imagination needs a good workout now and then, just like your physical body.

How long has it been since you indulged in a good daydream? If you do not know, then it has been too long. If you think that daydreaming sounds like a lazy pastime or a waste of time, consider that the imagination is where you create new possibilities for yourself.

Your imagination needs a good workout now and then, just like your physical body. You have probably heard the phrase, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” So let us take a closer look.

The fact is that your imagination is a very powerful tool. You use it continuously, in an unconscious way, by first visualizing an action and then carrying it out. It is such an automatic process that you may not realize that without your imagination, you could not walk across the room.

By visualizing your destination, you set into motion the energy that will guide you to it. Allowing yourself to dream, visualize, wonder and imagine a new possibility creates an opening for one to materialize.

This is physics — nature abhors a vacuum, which means the space will ultimately be filled. Since energy flows where attention goes, you only have to focus your attention on your desired outcome. Then, release yourself from any attachment to it, which frees the energy from being limited by your current perspective.

You now have created a space for new possibilities. The more you feed the dream, the closer you will be to its realization. Sweet dreams.
